Dayton Group is expanding its services through an acquisition in which Resta-Mesta Oy becomes part of the group. The aim of the transaction is to respond to growing customer demand for services that cover the entire lifecycle of equipment, from planning and maintenance to take-back and reuse.

Resta-Mesta will continue to operate under its own name, and Anne Lindeqvist will remain as the company’s Managing Director. At the same time, she will also join the management team of Dayton Finland. The acquisition supports Dayton Group’s growth strategy in Finland and the Baltics and strengthens the company’s position as a comprehensive partner across different customer segments.

Through the acquisition, Dayton Group further strengthens its expertise particularly in the reuse of commercial kitchen and restaurant equipment, equipment rental, and flexible temporary solutions. Resta-Mesta specializes in extending the lifecycle of used equipment and promoting reuse, which also supports sustainability goals and the advancement of the circular economy. In 2025, Resta-Mesta estimated that its operations helped save approximately 4.2 million kilograms of natural resources and avoid around 325,000 kilograms of carbon dioxide emissions.

Together, Dayton Group and Resta-Mesta will be able to serve customers even more broadly across the horeca sector, retail, events, municipalities, and commercial kitchens.
